Our use of AI

For us, responsible AI is ethical and secure. Our approach is grounded in ISO/IEC 42001 and the TAISE and PMI-CPMAI frameworks. We are also signatories of the Montréal Declaration for a Responsible Development of Artificial Intelligence.

We apply these same principles to our own use of AI.

Ashencroft Management does not hold ISO/IEC 42001 certification: this page describes our practices and is not a statement of conformity. One of our partners holds an individual ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer certification, which does not apply to the firm.

• Research, synthesis and drafting of working documents.
• Development of software, scripts and automations.
• Data analysis.
• Routine administration, such as email and calendar.
• Images: some images on this site are AI-generated and carry the caption “AI-generated image”.

We make no decision about a person based exclusively on automated processing.

AI supports the work of our senior partners; it does not replace their judgment.

• We enter personal information or confidential client information into an AI tool only under the conditions set by our internal policy.
• Only approved tools are allowed. They are configured so that our data is not used to train their models.
• When a tool processes information outside Quebec, we first assess the privacy factors.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and how to exercise your rights.

A senior partner reviews all content produced with the help of AI before it is delivered to a client. We check the facts, sources and code, and we remain accountable for every deliverable.

On request, we tell a client how AI was used in their engagement.

Our use of AI is governed by an internal policy and by an inventory of the AI systems we use.

We assess risks before adopting a new tool, train our team and review these practices regularly.
